Now here i want to talk about some other ways to save money and what you can do with all your freebies!
Donating
First i want to talk about donating. In many of my posts you might have though i was nuts buying 20 bottles of Motrin PM even though i made about $2 a box. What the heck am i going to do with it all? DONATE IT! Same with the 40 packs of Stay Free pads i made $0.50 a pack off! I donated them to he Women’s Shelter. Find cat food for free with a coupon (or better yet a money maker) but don’t have a cat? Buy it and donate it to your local animal shelter!
Places to consider donating too
The USO (to help deployed troops)
Women’s Shelters
Food Banks
Animal Shelters
Your Local Church
This allows you to take part in Money Makers make money off of the item then donate it to some who really needs it. Same with Freebies! The best part, you get a letter from them of how much you have donated in that run, save them they are a tax deduction at the end of the year!
Helping Friends Out
Your best friend or her husband loses their job, she tells you she doesn’t know how she is going to keep putting food on the table for their children AND be able to continue paying the bills. It’s heart breaking but in this economy happening ALL the time. Well now YOU can help her out! With your stock pile of freebies you can give her a weeks worth of groceries saving her some money! Even if it’s just pasta veggies and chicken that is like Prime Rib to someone who has no idea where their next meal is coming from!
Now lets talk about saving money else where in your budget!
Shopping Online
Look for Coupon Codes! Go to Google, Yahoo or Swag Bucks and search ‘Coupons Code for Kmart’ You might have to flip threw a few sites to find a valid code but there is one out there!
(more on Swag Bucks posted HERE. This is a great way to earn Amazon Gift cards and make Christmas free!)
Use a Cash back site like Ebates. You shop threw their link and get between 1% -20% (some times even more!) back on your purchase!
Read my article HERE about Getting the best deal online!
Freebies
Take advantage of free samples. Some people think this is a waste of time for a one time use of a product. Did you know a lot of samples are more then one time use? Most toothpaste samples will last you week! Deodorant? 2 weeks! I got a facial moisturizer sample that lasted me a month!
What if i told you, that by using free samples you can save over $200 a YEAR! I wrote an article on it to show you how. You can read it HERE.
Living on Less
There are many other way to cut the cost of living down in your day to day life. I did a series a while back called Living on Less.
This will help you get stuff like clothes for cheap, find the best time to shop for certain items and more!
