I get asked a lot about how to save money on diapers and wipes so I thought I’d put it all in one spot!
Where do you get diaper and wipes coupons?
The best place is as always your Sunday paper. Pampers and Luvs coupons come in the monthly PG insert. Huggies tend to come in the Smart Source once every 6 weeks or so. Don’t forget to sign up online for an account on their website. Pampers, Huggies and Luvs send out coupons every 2 or 3 months in the mail. Another way to get some great high value coupons is to email the diaper companies (See my Emailing for coupons list) and give them some feedback and ask for some coupons. I have gotten coupons for $2- $4 and even free packs like this! Last of all don’t forget to take advantage of those diaper codes Pampers and Huggies put out. Save them up and watch the rewards, you can get Babies R Us gift cards to use for free diapers or coupons for free diaper packs!
How do you get such good deals on Diapers and wipes? Where do I need to be looking?
You want to watch for sales and try to stock up then. I tend to find my best sales and the drug stores, CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens. These sales will have the jumbo packs on sale for $8.99 sometimes $7.99 then you get a $1 or $2 ECB/RR/UP back PLUS you can use your coupons plus any store coupons you may have and also any ‘e coupons’. So here is a deal I got recently at Rite Aid:
Huggies Diapers Jumbo Packs $8.99
Get a $10 UP WYB $30 of select products (huggies included)
I had (1) $1 Store coupon
a $3 off $15 purchases
then i had (3) $2.00 coupons and (1) $2.50 coupon
PLUS i would get $2.00 back on Saving Star (an Ecoupon)
So here is my deal:
Buy 4 Jumbo Packs = $35.96
Use:
$3 off $15 purchase
1 – $1.00 store coupon
3 – $2.00 coupons
1 – $2.50 coupon
Pay : $23.46 (use any UPs you have)
Get back $10 up and $2 in Star Savings account
Total cost $11.46 + tax or $2.86 a pack!
Don’t be afraid to try store brand diapers either. Both Rite Aid and Walgreens have had great deals on their store brand. Recently Walgreens put their store brand diapers on sale for $4.99 for a jumbo pack and they had a $2 store coupon out so you could get them for $2.99!
How do you get deals on Amazon for Diapers and Wipes?
Yes it’s true you can get great deals on diapers and wipes shipped right to you door from Amazon! I have gotten boxes of 600+ wipes for less then $1!! Here is how. First you need to be a member of Amazon Mom (it’s free!) Then you want to watch magazines like Parents, American Baby and Baby Talk for the Amazon coupons, For either $10 off a Diaper purchase OR 20% off a diaper purchase. There are one time use codes so don’t share! Then find the diapers or wipes you want and don’t add them to your cart, use the Subscribe and Save Feature just under the add to your cart button. You will get an additional discount doing this on top of your Amazon mom discount and free shipping! Then at check out you can use your coupon code. After you get your diapers go back to your account and cancel the subscribe and save feature.
The best advice I can give is to not be brand loyal to a specific brand or diaper with in a brand. Buy what you can get a deal on. One week it might be Huggies the next Pampers and the next a store brand. Once you have nice stockpile going you can be a bit more picky
