Emailing Companies for Coupons 101!!

Ok so I have started emailing companies to ask for coupons. Most companies will send out coupons when asked. Even if they are in the Sunday paper or online. Some will send out freebies or freebie coupons too.

Here are some tips to emailing companies. First you can just go to their website and go to Contact Us and that should have an email form.
You will get more results if you personalize they email. Mention anything you like about a product. Don’t complain unless you truly had an issue. I mention we are on a tight budget and ask if they are able to send any coupons for their products. I also include my address in the body of the message along with any place else it might be asked for.
Some people ask to be added to their mailing list too and also ask for coupons for freebies. I have heard from people that they have gotten not only coupons, but sales, coupons for free items AND full size free products!
I would start slowly email 5 – 10 a day more if you want. Once you finish the list do it again in 6 months.

Remember some companies will send stuff and some won’t don’t get discouraged if a company emails back saying they have no coupons. For every 9 yes you get you will end up with 1 no.
I like to keep a list (the list in THIS POST) with the companies I have emailed. I put the date next to the company as I email them. If I get a no I put that down and I will wait a year to email them again. I like to keep track of the coupons I get from who.

Con Agra Product Tips – Don’t select the ‘Coupons’ option they will send you a generalized ‘we don’t send coupons email. Select Feedback, tell them why you like to product and it will go to a human and 9 times out of 10 they will send you a coupon!
