I have a personal list of things I will NOT buy new because, I can always find used at amazing prices! So here is my list!

Books
I can’t remember the last time I bought a NEW book. I always get used. I get used books one of 2 ways. I can find great older books at thrift stores and garage sales, I find new books there too. I tend to get my Newer books from Paper Back Swap. This is a free site where you can trade books online after you have read them.

CDs and DVDs
Always check out used DVDs and CDs for scratches.

Jewelry
Just like with a new car the value decreases as soon as you walk out of the store so why buy new?

Special Occasion Dressing
Yes I do LOOK for new stuff on clearance but about 80% of the time I find something cheaper I like better used.

Baby and Maternity Clothes
The turn over of this stuff is so fast you don’t have time to ruin it! For kids they barely get to wear an outfit twice why pay full price? For Maternity clothes why buy a whole brand NEW wardrobe when you will only wear it a few months? Buy used save over 75%!

Office Furniture
It is soooo easy to find a used desk and desk chair if not in a Thrift Shop that for sure on places like Craigslist.
