Slow Cooker Saucy Ribs

 

 

1 t. dry mustard
1/2 t. allspice
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper
3 lbs baby back pork ribs, sliced into 4 inch pieces
1/2 c. water
1-1/2 c. barbecue sauce

 

Combine all seasonings in a small bowl; rub onto ribs. Place in a slow cooker and pour water over top. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 9 hours, until ribs are tender when pierced with a fork. Remove ribs from slow cooker; discard cooking liquid. Replace ribs in slow cooker and add barbecue sauce. Cover and cook on low setting for one additional hour. Makes 6 servings.
