Did you purchase the Step 2® Kids Play and Shade Patio Set from JCPenny the other day? Then see all the drama about possibly not getting your set?
Well JCPenny FINALLY released a statement! This statement was released on their Facebook page:
We apologize for the recent incorrect pricing issue for our step2 patio and shade play set. Due to the pricing error we had an over abundance of orders placed. We will be honoring the price of $15 with a limit of one per customer until our stock has been depleted. We will be contacting all customers to inform them of their order status.
This is great news to those of us who took part in this deal. If you ordered more than one you will only be getting one but that’s better than nothing! Many stores in the past have NOT honored their pricing but offers the item at a deep discount or offered a coupon or gift card along with a refund of the item price.
This item was set to ship a week from order date, but since orders were on hold due to this issue I would guess the week to ship starts now. Would love to know when you get yours!

Thanks for the update on the Step 2 Patio Set. I had ordered 2 of them for 2 granddaughters. One just had a birthday on Dec. 31. I was going to give it to her as a belated present,(although I have other birthday presents for her)instead, I will give it to my other granddaughter for her birthday in February. At least JCPenney is honoring the pricing by selling us one of them. For that I am thankful!
I am so glad I at least can get one I did order two but I will be happy w/ one for that price
