Here is a tip I use on a regular basis. I never give exact change when paying for stuff!
Why?! Because i then get change back, while 15¢ here 30¢ there may not seem like much, if you do this EVERY time you pay with cash and then take the change and put it in a jar or bag and cash in you can save up for something great!
Hubby and I use a jar that counts what goes in and when we hot $50 (almost a full jar) we cash in at the bank and save it for a vacation or Christmas. It really adds up! We can cash in every few months, gives us an extra $200+ a year!
That is exactly what I posted on my blog a few weeks ago. I think this is the best way for me to save money!
