I am not the best at decorating. I long for my home to look like it came from the pages of Real Simple or Better Home and Garden but, alas, it doesn’t.
I think that having a small space to work with may be part of my problem, but this fall I really want to decorate it and make it look nice, especially with my daughter’s birthday party coming up. I want at least my living room to look a little more put together.
So, I went to Pinterest for some inspiration and, boy, did I find some! These ideas are so simple that anyone can do them! I love that about them! Check out some of my favorite finds:
Framed Letters – How easy is this?? Pick out some orange, brown or green scrapbook paper, cut out the letter spelling “Fall”, attach the letters to the paper and frame them!
Falling Leaves – I LOVE how simple yet cute this idea is! And, yes, I have been already looking to find some of these big leaves!
Paper Pumpkins – I think this is so cute, and it looks pretty easy to make! This would look SO cute on a wall or mantel!
Embroidery Hoop Decor – This is probably the “hardest” of the ones I found, but it still doesn't look too hard. Sure, the thought of embroidery hoops scared me a bit at first (I can't sew at ALL) but, once I read the instructions, I realized this is definitely do-able!
Fall Hurricane Vases – How great is this for kitchen decor? I love the look the various colors give it!
Pumpkin Crate – I love this idea for outside – and all you need is a crate and some pumpkins! Love!
Pumpkin Candlesticks – I am TOTALLY doing this on my mantel. I already have candlesticks on it, so I'll just replace the candles with pumpkins! Super cute!
Framed Leaves – This is another simple yet classy decor idea. This would look so nice hung above a mantel or an accent table.
Pumpkin Flower Pots – I love this idea – what a cute way to hold your flowers or plants outside in the fall!
Pumpkin and Gourd Hurricane Vase – Have a hurricane vase? Check out this idea – use it to display mini pumpkins, gourds and pine cones! This is such an awesome idea – I can totally see this on a kitchen island or dining room table!

I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
