Shine your copper pots –
Dip a lemon cut in half in regular table salt and use it to scrub the bottom of your copper pots. They’ll look like new before you know it!
Clean your disposal –
Have a stinky disposal? Cut up pieces of lemon peel and drop them down into it. Run it like normal and the lemon peel will instantly freshen it!
Remove stains on your whites –
Does your favorite white shirt have a stain on it? Dribble some lemon juice on the stain and sit it out in the sun for a bit. Then just wash and dry like normal. Voila! No more stain!
No sticky rice here-
The next time you’re fixing rice for dinner, add a few drops of lemon juice to the boiling water. It will keep your rice from sticking and you won’t taste it one bit!
Remove odors on your hands –
Been shopping onions? Soak your hands in lemon juice for a few minutes and the smell will go away! This works for any smells that might transfer to your hands!
Care for oily skin –
If your skin is like mine, it can be super oily. To combat that naturally, mix equal parts cucumber juice with lemon juice and leave on your face for 15 minutes. Oil free naturally!
Get rid of a pimple –
Have a problem pimple? Rub a slice of lemon on it and leave the juice on overnight. Wash your face in the morning and your pimple should be reduced or even gone!
Cure constipation –
Mix 1 cup warm water with a couple of tablespoons lemon juice and drink. You won’t be stopped up for long! This is especially gentle to use for kids.
No more dark circles –
Apply lemon juice to a cotton ball and dab on the dark circles under your eyes twice a day. It will lighten the dark circles! Just be sure not to get any juice in your eye. Ouch!
Remove stains on your counters –
Mix up a paste of equal parts baking soda and lemon juice. Spread on your counters and let sit for a bit. Rinse well with plain water and the stain should be gone! Just be sure to test a small area of your counter before you do this to be sure it isn’t going to be ruined by the acid in the juice.
