Easy Meatless Chili Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Green Peppers
  • 2 cans BUSH’S® Chili Beans
  • 1 can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can Tomato Paste
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Start by dicing your onion and green peppers and adding them to a large pot and cooking them until the onion starts to get a bit translucent.
  2. Next add in your tomato sauce, paste, and crushed tomato. We use crush because my kids don't like chunks. Mix well.
  3. Next, add in your spices (pro tip you can use taco seasoning in a bind!) Mix well.
  4. Then add in your BUSH’S® Chili Beans. Mix well.
  5. Let everything simmer on low stir occasionally.
  6. I suggest simmering at least an hour but I have done it for as little as 15 minutes and it still tastes great!
  7. Serve with cheese and cornbread!
