3/4 cups butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1.5 tsp corn starch
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
Add the egg and vanilla. Mix until light in color and creamy.
Add in the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt), mix into the dough. Mix until completely combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips. Portion out the dough, spacing them out. Roll into a ball and arrange 6 per sheet.
Bake for 12-14 mins until edges are lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 15 min before removing to a wire rack.
