Every year I am on the hunt for gifts for dinosaur lovers, sometimes for my kids, sometimes for nieces and nephews, and sometimes for birthday parties! So this year I put up a gift guide to help other parents out as well!
The Best Gifts for Dinosaur Lovers
Right now my son is OBSESSED with dinosaurs. He has dino toys, and dino clothes and even wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up so he can study disnorsaurs. About a year ago we took him to a dino dig sites where he could actually dig for fossils, and it was like I was the worst mommy ever when it was time to leave he wanted to live there!
So you can say I am an expert on gifts for dinosaur lovers!
Here are my suggestions.
National Geographic Dinosaur Dig Kit – My son is obsessed with dinosaurs, and he wants to know everything about them including how they find them now, and how they are relevant today. That is why this dig kit is perfect it shows him how careful the scientists have to be in excavating the bones.
Dream Factory Dinosaur Prints Boys Comforter Set – Of course, any dino-obsessed kid is going to want to decorate his or her room in dinos too. Bed sheets are the easiest way to do this!
Dino Bag – For any dino fans that will need a carry bag for travel, overnights, or sports!
Dinosaur 3D Night Light Touch Table Desk Lamp – Ok I find this light really cool and kind of want one for myself!
Animal Planet Grow Eggs – Dinosaur – Hatch and Grow three different super-sized dinos. What kid (or adult!) wouldn’t love to gro their own dinos?
LEGO Creator Mighty Dinosaurs – Legos have so many learning benefits along with the super fun factor! Just make sure they get picked up and put away!
Haribo Dinosaurs Candy, 5-Ounce – This is the perfect stocking stuffer! Candy in the shape of dinos, this is one case where it is ok to play with your food.
Pink Dino Pouch – Because not all dino fans are boys!
Color and Activity Books Dinosaur: with Over 60 Stickers, Pictures to Color, Puzzle Fun, and More! – Activity books are great for car rides, waiting rooms, road trips, and rainy days!
Fashionclubs Kids Sandwich And Bread Press Cutter Maker Mould (dinosaur) – I find my kids are much more eager to eat lunch and try new things when they love the shapes they are in, like this dinosaur sandwich cutter.
Hatching Dinosaur Egg – Another egg hatching gift. This one falls under the stocking stuffer list and is perfect for even younger dino lovers.
Dino Pillow – Perfect for any dino fans reading nook or dino themed bed!
Smithsonian Diggin’ Up Dinosaurs T-Rex – My son loves the Smithsonian kits, so I knew I had to find him a dino one for Christmas!
Melissa & Doug Dinosaurs 4-in-1 Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles in a Storage Box (48 pcs) – These puzzles are bright and really grab kids attention. The downside to them is they ARE wood and can get a bit heavy, but my kids love them better there the old cardboard puzzles.
Dino Meal — The Steal the Eggs Before the Dinosaur Lunges Game – Our family LOVES to play games, and we gave games each person likes. So, of course, my son had to have a dinosaur game, and this is one he likes to play with his sisters.
National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Dinosaurs – We always give at least one book for a gift, I like to encourage my kids to read. So any dino lover can get emerged in this book of facts, stories and tidbits about dinosaurs made just for kids.
Jurassic World Poster Set – You can have a dinosaur gift guide without at least one decor item on the list, and these are my favorite!
Below are a few more ideas but I’d love for you to leave me a comment on what gifts you are getting the dino lovers in your life!
I am a mom to 5 kids, homeschool mom, blogger, social media junkie, Frugalista, Book Worm, and Closet Want-to-be Chef. We are a Roadschool family (homeschooling on the road while traveling fulltime).
I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
