Welcome to 30 Days of DIY! These posts will be on, well, DIY (do it yourself) projects. I will be focusing on DIYs to save money, reuse things and make expensive stuff for less!

We all have our favorite shorts and pants that fit great. Well one thing leads to another and they just don’t fit anymore! Here is a great DIY way to make your favorite shorts fit again! (or just spice up an old pair!)

Take your shorts and cute a slit up the side seem. Doesn’t matter how high (or not so high) it’s up to you (though let’s not go slutty high here!)

Then take your lace and sew in along the seam and voila! You have a hot pair of shorts just like the ones above!
