With the Holidays coming up. Many of us are continuing the Elf on the Shelf tradition, some of us are starting the tradition. Either way we are always look for new ideas to keep things fun and interesting! Our family elf is called Mater. Yes, after the Cars Movie Mater. This is his 2nd year with us but he seems to have gotten in to plenty of trouble since then! Join us on our adventures!
Now I have a small Mini Series: Elf on the Shelf Fun in the Snow! Many of us across the country have had snow covering our yards and we were no exception! Here are some great Ideas to take the fun outside! I recommend have a washcloth ready as a blanket to bring your elf in and warm him up (parents only!) So he isn’t outside for the day!
Let your Elf hang out with some of your Christmas Decor outside. Deer, blow up snowmen or even inside a bush or tree!
I’d love to hear some of the great ways your elf has visited you!!

I am a mom to 5 kids, homeschool mom, blogger, social media junkie, Frugalista, Book Worm, and Closet Want-to-be Chef. We are a Roadschool family (homeschooling on the road while traveling fulltime).
I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
