Welcome to day 7!
So far we have covered setting up your blog, what to blog about. and making money via ads, affiliates, and sponsored content. Today let’s cover making your own products.
The list of products you can make are endless but I want to touch on a few of the more popular ones with bloggers.
It is so easy to put an ebook together and it can cover any topic. Pick something you know about and write. You can self-publish on Amazon for free and even use Amazon’s Createspace to created printed books! Many bloggers take their blog posts on a certain subject and expand on it and turn it into a book!
If you have the ability to create printables you can sell them via a shop on your blog or even on sites like Teachers Pay Teacher and CurrClick and then use your blog to advertise them. You can also go the route of hiring someone to create the printables for you to sell.
Many bloggers are creating courses on what they know from, blogging, social media, email marketing, organizing, budgeting, freezer cooking, and more. If you want to learn to do it there is a blogger out there with a course for you!
Using sites like CafePress and Zazzle, bloggers are creating clothing to sell with their brandings, quotes and more and using their blogs and social media to advertise them and draw in buyers
Sell your services! You can write for other bloggers, create graphics, websites, offer consulting, and more!
This is just the tip of the ice burg on items you can sell! I have seen organization binders, coupon classes (in person!), speaking engagements and more. The possibilities really are endless!
I know trying to decide HOW to monetize your blog can be a bit overwhelming but I find I like the passive income better, things like ads, and affiliate income where I earn no matter where I am or what I am doing!
Tomorrow we dive into growing your traffic via social media.
