Let's face it dads can be hard to buy for. I know mine is! (Sorry daddy, but it's true!) This year I am so grateful for Barnes and Noble's Father's Day Gift Guide!
Let's start with the sports fan dad's. My husband falls into this category, so I was drawn to it. They have lots of great sports books, biographies, and even movies. If you are shopping for a father who has a daughter and wants some bonding time with them, I recommend the movie, A League of Their Own.
Is your dad an action guy? Does he love the thrill of a good action book? Barnes and Noble has a section for that too! They cover all the good ones including James Patterson's Private Paris. Maybe he is more of a TV guy than a book guy? They have a ton of great movies too including all the 007 movies I remember watching with my dad while growing up.
How about those History Buff guys? Barnes and Noble has you covered on just about any part of history your dad loves. From The Wright Brothers to the Apache Wars and beyond.
What about the grill masters dads? Well, Bobby Flay has a great new grill cookbook out, and that is just the tip of the ice book on the section of grilling cookbooks. Plus this one also has some great benefits because you get to try out the food too right?
Oh and Barnes and Noble isn't all just books and movies! You can get dad some electronics such as radios and vinyl players. They have some unique journals, a shoe shine kit, the traditional coupon book, and even a car guest book.
If all other ideas escape you a Nook is always a great gift, make sure to pair it with a gift card so he can buy some books to get started, or load it up with some books you know he will love.
If your dad is especially hard to shop for then, you can always go the Barnes and Noble gift card route. While not as personalized you can include a letter about all the things you love about your dad and favorite memories etc. to make it even more special.
