Do your kids love Hot Wheels Cars as my son does? He is completely obsessed so I've slowly started adding Hot Wheels decor to his rooms like this Upcycled Hot Wheels Cars Picture Frame Idea. I share a few of my ideas plus 2 ways to do this from below!
Amazing Upcycled Hot Wheels Cars Picture Frame Idea
This is an easy upcycle you can make pretty cheap. Here is how. The hot wheels you can find at garage sales for as cheap as 5¢ each. If you are super lucky you can get a photo frame for around 10¢.
Most of us have hot glue at home and you can pick up the Rustoleum paint in just about any color for about $4!
If you can't find the Hot Wheels cars at garage sales you can buy 100 of them for less then $20 on Amazon. That may seem like a lot of cars but I've seen many people use these care to decorate a boys room, frame a mirror, and bed and more.
Another great one is to have them frame a clock for your kid's room as well! I've seen them turned in toe drawer pulls and even lamps. Pinterest has so many ideas.
Also painting them is optional! I will show you both versions below because I love both. If you choose to paint your picture frame you can use whatever color paint matches the decor of the room the frame will be in.
This is also a super cute gift idea for family members, you can frame your family photo in it as a gift for the holidays.
Ok on to this Upcycled Hot Wheels Cars Picture Frame Idea.
8×10 picture frame
Approximately 12 hot wheels cars
You want to start by picking out the Hot Wheels Cars you want to use for this project.
Line up your cars the way you want them, then use a generous amount of hot glue to attach them to the frame and allow them to dry well.
I put a car in the middle of each side first, then filled in with other cars to help keep it even.
Now you can stop here I love this frame like this and it fits with most of my son's decor.
But I wanted to show the 2nd version of this frame as well. This is the version I like to make for gifts. You will want to spray paint the frame.
Let it dry and you have a beautiful frame. You can customize the paint color to match anyone's decor which is what makes this a great gift to put a family photo in for a grandparents gift idea.

I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
