I got inspired by all the yarn wreathes I saw on Pinterest so I thought I would make my own for July 4th and the summer! This is a easy DIY just time consuming.
What you need:
- Foam wreathe
- Yarn of your choice (for this exact one I use red, navy blue and an off white)
- Hot Glue
Then start the wrapping. Hot glue the start of the yarn down, then start wrapping. Sit on the couch watch a movie and wrap, clear out your DVR and wrap. Not kidding it's time consuming. You want to wrap and pushing each loop together so you can't see the Styrofoam. Glue down the end after each color and repeat.
Then add in your white stars or buttons with hot glue.
I added a little extra yarn in the back to hang with and book your down.
All done and super simple! Like this idea? Please pin it with the button below!

I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
