My husband has always enjoyed golfing, while he hasn't been very good he still has fun. For this very reason, I wanted to share tips for the non-golfer going on a golfing trip. You know, for us wives who don’t always enjoy golfing, but we want to support our husbands in this way. Check out these tips and tricks for the non-golfer’s golf trip.
Bring along something to read
If your spouse is going to spend hours on the golf course, you will need something to read. I love to download new books on my Kindle before a new golfing trip. You never know how much time you’ll spend reading. Sometimes my husband likes to go out on the golf course on his own. That means, it’s reading time for me.
Spend time golfing
Okay, I don’t despise golfing. I’m not a regular golfer, so I don’t get as competitive. When on a golf trip with my husband, I do spend time golfing. I like to drive the golf cart and let my husband teach me new golfing tricks. Don’t worry, none of his tricks have helped, I’m still not great at it.
Bring along your favorite wine
Something my husband and I can agree on, while on a golf trip is the kind of wine we love to drink. Sharing a bottle of Gran Reserva is something that is not forgotten while on a golf trip. This wine is the perfect wine to have anytime you have golf in your radar. If you haven’t tried it yet, this is a must.
Don’t forget your favorite snacks
Okay, I’m a snacker and when I’m bored I eat. When on a golfing trip, I bring along a lot of great snacks. Hey, my husband gets hungry on the course too and he’s always glad I bring along his favorite snacks. I may not be a great golfer, but I’m an excellent snacker.
So, for the non-golfer, heading on a golf trip, utilize these tips. The most important one here is to enjoy a glass of Gran Reserva together. Are you ready to take a non-golfer golfing trip? Enjoy a $25 credit on a round of golf at major golf courses nationwide courtesy of Concha y Toro Gran Reserva. Find a specially marked bottle necker where you buy wine. And you can also enter the Tee Time Sweepstakes to win – one year of free golf.

I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
