This is a sponsored post brought to you by Mega Bus. Being a military family we 100% support this cause!
During the summer months, my family loves to travel. As you may know, we travel in a huge RV fulltime with our growing family. I wanted to share some travel tips for the summer. Plus, a bonus travel tip you can use to support our military.
Always bring lots of snacks
I don't care who you are, snacks make everything better. As you travel this summer, make sure you have plenty of snacks on hand. While you're at it, don't forget the drinks as well!
Bring an emergency kit
I hate to be the one to remind everyone about the emergency kit, but it's so important. An emergency kit can be filled with supplies, just in case your vehicle breaks down. In today's day and age, you can never be too prepared.
Don't forget the entertainment
When traveling this summer, don't forget the entertainment. I let the kids play on electronics or have little bags with different activities in them. It's amazing how bored kids can get while traveling!
Want to support Military families as you travel this summer?
Check out this last tip!
Whenever it comes down to military families being supported, you know I am all over it. If you have never heard of the Megabus, you need to check this out. This May, the Megabus is introducing its first ever Camo Bus. This Camo-wrapped bus is driving around the USA to show support for our military. This will be the most incredible Memorial Day ever, since Megabus is hitting the road to specifically show support for fallen soldiers and disabled military heroes and their families.
Some fun facts on the Megabus is that they serve more than 100 cities across North America.
Every passenger who rides the Camo Bus during the month of May, $1 will get donated to Folds of Honor, up to $5,000. Curious what this money goes for? The money will be donated to an educational scholarship to support the child or spouse of a fallen/wounded soldier. If you see the Camo Bus, take a ride and know your money is supporting the military and their families. To date, megabus.com has donated nearly $100,000 to military organizations.
