How much money do you spend on your car payment? I was reading that the average car payment in America is $479. OUCH! But did you know there are several way to make your car pay for itself? Can you imagine your car earning you enough money (or more!) to pay it's own car payment? How nice would it be to free up a few extra hundred dollar in your budget each month? Well it IS possible!

Car Advertising – Earn Money from Your Car + More Ways!

Let me start with this disclaimer 90% of the time this will NOT be a fulltime income. Can you earn a fulltime income from your car? YES. I will share below how that is possible. Now instead of being a WAHM (work at home mom) you could become a WIYCM (work in your car mom)!

Become an Uber Driver

Did you know you could make money delivering people where they need to go? Yep we have all heard of the famous car app that is taking over and in many cases replacing taxis all together. Instead of being a taxi driver, you can be an Uber driver. You basically share your vehicle with others to get them to where they need to go.

You can make up to $25 an hour just being an Uber driver and be working 10 hours a week. It’s not a bad gig if you just need a little extra income. Many are doing this full time as well. The bigger the area you live in the more you are able to make. Everything is tracked via the Uber App

Rent your Car

Using sites like Turo you can rent your car to people for a night. If you have a high ticket car, date nights are a great way to make a little extra money on it. Make sure to always get a copy of the person’s license and information before renting out your car. Plus with Turo they cover your car up to $1 million! The higher market value of your car, the more money you can make renting it.

If you car is worth $20,000 and you rent it out 10 days a month you could make $4,600 a year or abour $380 a month

Deliver Groceries to People

You can go online and sign up through apps and websites like InstaCart to do this or you could start your own grocery delivery service. Either way, tie other people’s grocery lists into your own grocery schedule. Charge a small fee to deliver the groceries and do the shopping. This is a great way to kill two birds with one stone.

Offer to Take Kids to School

You would be surprised how many school districts don’t offer to bus kids. Parents need help getting their kids to and from school especially working parents. It can be hard to work your work schedule around school hours. If you have kids or you live around kids, you could expect to make $5 a kid dropping them off and picking them up from school each day.

Sell Advertising

Carvertise is the most popular site to earn money by selling advertising space on your car. You pick how much or how little advertising and get paid monthly just for driving around.
