I’m sure you have heard me mention Operation Homefront before. This is a nonprofit that
works hard to “build strong, stable, and secure military families so that they can thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect.” I support any program that helps military families but it’s not an easy job!
Being a part of a military family is a big deal, and it’s always nice when you can be apart of something big like Operation Homefront. I know many people that have benefited from this organization. What’s even cooler is that two of my favorite brands are merging together to create something even more awesome!
Gillette Deodorant & Operation Homefront
Did you know that Gillette Deodorant is a HUGE supporter of service members of all kinds? Veterans, their families, and service members all fall into this category. Gillette wants to continuously work with Operation Homefront to make sure military families are supported.
To show this Gillette deodorant has put out a great film for us all to check out.
In Gillette’s new short film, ‘Every Hero Sweats, Some Never Show It”, Gillette wishes to showcase the lesser known challenges that servicemembers face when retiring or separating from the military and re-enter civilian life to find a job. Gillette deodorant wants to celebrate the everyday heroes who persevere through that transition all while balancing the everyday demands of their job, family life, and any number of additional challenges they face.
I love everything about this new, short, but powerful film. I’d encourage you to go watch it as well as it gives us all a little more perspective.
It isn’t as easy as some might think to get out of the military and transition into civilian life. Our family was without a job for 3 months once my husband transitioned out and during that time we moved for a new opportunity that ultimately fell through. I was pregnant with our 4th and my husband found out the day I went into labor that he was finally employed.
Gillette Hydra Gel Antiperspirant
Gillette has a new product out called Hydra Gel antiperspirant. This deodorant is made with real ingredients like aloe and eucalyptus. Of course, it also offers 48-hours of protection and even works hard to hydrate the skin. Let’s not forget that this product was created with fast-acting ClearShield technology.
Gillette’s Partnership with Operation Homefront
Gillette will be running a “For Every 2 Sold, We Donate 1” program at select retailers throughout the summer. So, you should stock up on the Gillette Hydra Gel antiperspirant.
Visit www.Gillette.com/MilitaryDonation to learn more about Gillette and Operation Homefront. Plus, you can watch Gillette’s new video ‘Every Hero Sweats, Some Never Show It.’ I hope you enjoy it as much as my family did!
I am a mom to 5 kids, homeschool mom, blogger, social media junkie, Frugalista, Book Worm, and Closet Want-to-be Chef. We are a Roadschool family (homeschooling on the road while traveling fulltime).
I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
