When your service member retires or like my husband separates from the service things can be daunting! You have to find a new place to fit in. Many times this means yet another move and having to find your way around again and many new roads to travel down.
Did you know May is Military Appreciation month? Yep! No more a day here or a day there Military gets a WHOLE MONTH! There is so much going on for the military it might make you head spin so I want to make sure you don't miss amazing offer!

This doesn't surprise me. I have always known that Chevy is a big military supporter!
GM employs nearly 5,000 veterans and has close to 45,000 current retirees who have served in the military. To help expand this effort, GM Service Technical College is working on a number of initiatives that encourage the hiring of returning veterans.
With help from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Chamber Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes program, GM is providing dealerships with free access to over 400 Hiring Our Heroes job fairs that connect them to veteran applicants with a diverse array of skills. The Hiring Our Heroes initiative has helped more than 200,000 returning military service members and their spouses find training, career counseling and employment opportunities.
Our new road is currently leading us to travel and road school. This is a dream we have had for many years and now with hubby getting out of the Navy we are able to make this dream come true. As many of you know we have been on the hunt for a vehicle that can not only tote all 6 of us but ALSO tow an RV! One of the option we have been looking at is a Chevy Suburban. I LOVE that they offer 4G LTE Wi-fi from On Star! Being a blogger I work just about anywhere and having wi-fi is a must! Plus the Suburban can tow up to 8,300 pounds so pair it with the military discount program we can get the vehicle we need!
Right now Chevy has a #ChevySalutes Instagram contest going on. You can enter to win 1 of 3 prizes (1 grand prize, 2 runners up). You can ever by sharing photos or videos that show how your military family finds new roads or how we can support our military service members and their families as they find new roads. This contest will run from May 4-17, 2015. Check out the graphic below for more details.
I am a mom to 5 kids, homeschool mom, blogger, social media junkie, Frugalista, Book Worm, and Closet Want-to-be Chef. We are a Roadschool family (homeschooling on the road while traveling fulltime).
I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
