Directions to make DIY Santa Wine Glasses
First, you want to line your craft surface with a piece of old newspaper to protect it.
Next, place two pieces of washi tape around the center of your wine glass bowl, leaving about a 2″ space in between both pieces. This will form your black “belt”.
Then go ahead and paint the space in between the two pieces of tape black. Let dry, and I mean really dry, Trust me! Then go ahead and peel the tape off carefully.

Paint the inside of the wine glass and the outside stem and base red and let dry.
Once dry go ahead and paint the whole outside (except the black stripe) with your red glitter and let dry. This is why I think it looks great on a fireplace mantle the firelight dances off the glitter.
Fold your gold pipe cleaner into a 2 x 2 1/2″ square and hot glue it to the black stripe. This will form your “belt buckle”.
Place a couple of jingle bells onto your red pipe cleaner and twirl it around the stem, hot glue the ends of the pipe cleaner onto the glass
Then you are done! Place a tea-light candle on the base of the wine glass and display it with the rest of your Christmas decor!
