Do you have to use egg noodles for this recipe?
No, you could use spaghetti if you wanted. I used egg noodles because that's what I had on hand at the time.
Can I use ground turkey burger instead of beef?
Of course! While I prefer turkey burger over beef, my family does not and I get outvoted most times.
How can you fancy up this recipe?
While most like it the way it is, you can always spice it up to your liking. Add in mushrooms with your onions. Maybe add chili paste to make it actually spicy. Add cheese to it as well if you'd like.

How to make Lazy Beef and Noodles
Chop your onions.
Boil noodles
Meanwhile, caramelize onions and brown ground beef.
Mix onions and ground beef together and cook together for a few minutes. Next, make the gravy mix as directed in the pot with the meat/onions.
Salt as desired and serve the meat over noodles.

I love this recipe! It’s my, “I’m really tired but I have 4 kids I have to feed” recipe. I add a packet of ranch mix in with the gravy mix to give it a little extra flavoring. Sooo good!

Hi, I would like to try this recipe but wanted to know with the gravy do I open the gravy packets and add it to the ground meat mixture or do I mix the gravy with water as directed on the packet and pour it in with the ground meat?
I just poured it in with the meat mixture. The gravy packet and water. Mixed it all together.
