Are you a bride on a budget? Or looking to get the best bang for your buck on your wedding? Why start your marriage in debt? Have your dream wedding for $1,500 or less!
Saving money can be figured out by the classic, 5 W's of wedding planning. Who, What, When, Where, and Why.
PS! This book has been updated for 2020 with photos, bonus content, and a free wedding budget printable!
I like to start with the When. This can be your biggest money saver or budget buster.
Every bride wants a spring wedding. This is when every wedding related business also hikes up their price, everything from tux rentals, venue rentals, catering, photography and more!
It's the age old, supply and demand. But think of how beautiful a winter wedding could be with snow and sparkles and glitter! What about fall with fall colors and crisp air?
Take it even further most wedding happen on a Saturday. Pick a different day to get married and save big! Hubby and I got married on a Wednesday for half price on our venue, on the beach!
Next is the Where.
Have a time frame find a location, this can be the biggest chunk of your wedding! Think out side the box, a friend or family members property, a park, or a off the beaten path location.
Hubby and I got married on the beach in Virginia Beach when he was station there. Instead of going to a main hotel on the main drag we went down the road to a lesser traveled hotel and the price was almost 50% less for a bigger space!
Next plan the What. What is your budget? What is the theme of your wedding? What do are you must have can not give ups?
What are you willing to do your self to save money? Start writing it all down and get a game plan!
Who will be in your wedding? There will be you (the bride and groom!) but who else? Remember the bigger your wedding part the more expensive it will be!
Last but now least the Why. Why do you feel you NEED a certain wedding?
Have you thought of a small wedding, saving money on your wedding and having a big honeymoon or buy a house?
What about a non traditional wedding? Thinking outside the normal box can save you a ton of money!
Can you really your dream wedding for UNDER $1,500?
