Hawaiian Islands Grilled Pork Chop Recipe
This recipe is perfect for summer grill outs! This is not JUST a Hawaiian Islands Grilled Pork Chop Recipe. You can get this all prepared in a ziploc bag and freeze it for a great freezer meal! PLUS you don't have to do pork chops! You can do chicken too. We haven't tried it on steak or beef yet but if you do I would love to hear how you like it! Also if you want to make this recipe in the colder months is great cooked in the oven too!
Ingredients
1 lb of pork chops (or chicken, wings, thighs drumsticks or breasts all work)
1/4 cup honey
20 oz can of Pineapple (save the fruit for grilling!)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
1/2 teaspoon Franks Red Hot Sauce
1/4 cup homemade brown sugar
1 orange sliced or about half a cup of orange juice
1 clove of garlic
Directions
Put your pork chops in a large zip lock bag or in the bottom of a glass pan. Make sure to use the ziploc bag if freezing.
In a mixing bowl mix together the honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, mustard, hot sauce, oranges, garlic and brown sugar.
Pour over the pork chops, cover and place in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours. If using as a freezer meal just place in the freezer.
Grill! If freezing defrost before grilling. Just place in the fridge the night before and you should be good to go!
Cook till internal temperature of the pork is at least 145 degrees. Great served with grilled pineapple.
Enjoy
