Recently I shared how I am using Groupon to score free activities with Groupon Bucks. Now I'm going to show you how to make those Groupon Bucks last even longer and how to score a few more freebies! YES! You can save money on Groupon Deals!
14 Ways to Save Money on Groupon Deals
Use Coupon Codes – Groupon is an online site, and they do release coupon codes!
Use Honey – Honey is a browser app that will hunt down coupon codes for you. This works on almost any site!
Watch for $5 Deal Days – Groupon is famous for their $5 days where they offer great deals for only $5
Read the Fine Print – Make sure to read the fine print before you buy. Some are only for new customers, some deals exclude certain dates or are only for certain times. Make sure you qualify.
Watch for Extra Charges – Some attractions offer a huge discount but don't include things such as equipment rental fees. We recently used the Atlanta SkyView Groupon and once there we had to pay the sales tax while it was only $2.88 it was an additional fee on top of the cost of the Groupon.
Subscribe – Subscribe to your cities you want to to watch for deals, so you don't miss out on special promos and huge discounts.
Sell Unused Vouchers – Ever buy a voucher with every intention of using it only to have something happen? You can resell that unused voucher and recoup some of your money back.
Get the Mobile App – I love using the near me feature to see what Groupons are near me. But the mobile app also releases some mobile only coupons and deals.
