Ok, ya’ll I have to share this with you! I’ve been getting into local attractions for free! Yes, all 6 of us, for free. I figured out this great savings hack that is saving us tons of money, and it’s totally legit. You know me I don’t post anything that I don’t use myself, and that isn’t legit! So here it is!
How to Score Fun Family Activities for Free
Ok, so we all know that Groupon has some killer deals right? Well, have you looked at the local stuff they offer? Everything from house cleaning to date night dinners to local attraction passes 50% off (which is basically buy one get one free!) They also offer great deals on items around the holidays so you can check off your Christmas list.
Ok, so how am I getting stuff for free on Groupon? Buy scoring free Groupon Bucks and this is not by doing a huge referral thing. (But they do have the option to refer a friend and get $10 if referrals are your thing.)
I am using a few sites to earn Groupon Bucks. The first one is one many of you might know, Swagbucks. I cash out for $25 – $100 is Gift Cards a month. How? Well, I first have to admit I play their games….. they can be quite addictive. I use their search feature, claim their swag codes and use coupons via them, and I also do some of my online shopping from them. I also watch videos and use their Swagbucks TV app on my phone. You can see just a few days ago I cashed out for a $100 Groupon Gift Card. I will be about a week before I get the card to add to my account.
The next site I use is called InstaGC which means Instant Gift Cards. True to its name when you cash out for a gift card you get it right then and there, no waiting. I have been using this site for almost 3 years now. I watch videos, compete in contests, hubby plays sports games, and I do tasks and take surveys. If I work this site like I know I can then I can earn about $100 a month from it. In March, I cashed out for $75 worth of Groupon Bucks.
I also use Gift Hulk and recently found out they have Groupon too. While my earnings are a bit slower over here for March, I was able to cash out for $25 in Groupon Bucks. This is like the same sites above; I use it to search, watch videos play games, etc.
So in the month of March, I was able to earn $200 in Groupon Bucks to use on free attractions. Now we do travel fulltime in our RV so we will use that $200 but you might only need $50 or $100 in Groupon Bucks. Then what? Well, these places allow you to cash out for many different things my favorites are the Amazon Gift Cards and Pay Pal payments.
So far we have used our Groupon Bucks to get a Veggies Tales DVD pack for the kids, to tour historic houses and museums for free in Nashville, TN, and Savannah, Ga. We just bought a SkyView Ferris Wheel Ride deal in Atlanta to use while we are here, and a family pack of tickets to the Titanic Museum in Gatlinburg TN and we already have a few things bookmarked for places we are heading to soon!
