5 Steps to Become a Bartering Queen (or King!)

If you don’t like saving money, then you must not be human. Saving money is the lifeblood of many people! They live to save money because this means they can spend their hard-earned dollars on other stuff. Some people are too shy to start bartering. They think it makes them look less classy. Guess what? No one is going to give you a discount if you don’t ask.

Here are 5 steps to becoming a barter queen or king.

#1. Get out of the mode of being shy

If you are going to be a barter king or queen, then you can’t be shy! You have to get out of the mode of wanting to hide behind everyone. Get out there and show everyone how to be a barter slayer.

#2. Barter for what you really want

Don’t waste your time bartering on the stupid stuff that you don’t really want. Barter for the items you want! Sometimes bartering can be exhausting, which is why you really should use your energy on getting the items that you really want.

#3. Go for the price you really want

Why waste time? If you really want something and have a price in mind, then go for it! The price you want is what you want to spend, right? The worst-case scenario is that they say no! Of course, they can always say yes too. My best advice is to go for the price that you really want.

#4. Keep practicing to perfect your barter

Let’s be honest, in the beginning, it may be a little rough to barter with people you don’t really know. Am I right? Keep practicing to perfect your bartering practices. Confidence is key when it comes to bartering!

#5. Accept barters for your stuff too!

You can’t be a one-way-barterer. You need to accept barters just as much as you barter other people for their items.
