Just when you thought you knew everything about your Amazon Prime membership, there are more secrets of its awesomeness revealed. Besides free shipping, there are several Amazon Prime perks of being an Amazon Prime member.
Your Amazon Prime Membership – Top Secret Amazon Prime Perks
Amazon Prime Unlimited Streaming of Movies and TV Shows
This is like Netflix or Hulu for but with your Amazon account! Instead of paying an extra amount of money per month, you can actually get unlimited streaming of movies. Plus, it doesn’t matter where you download it, it’s still free. I have had Amazon Video downloaded multiple times on my tablet, phone, and still watched it on the television. My favorite feature is I can head to any place with wifi and download videos direct to your device, traveling an not alays having great internet it great being able to watch TV even with no service! This is great for roadtrips!
Amazon Prime Music
I love this it's like Spotify but already included in your Amazon Prime membership. Plus I have the option to download songs like I do videos. I keep a rotation of songs on my phone to listen to with out using data and because i like to listen to music whne I clean and go to sleep!
Amazon Prime Perks – Free Same Day Delivery
In certain zip codes, you can actually have stuff delivered to you same day! Say, you need diapers and wipes, Amazon will deliver those right to your front door. My mind is blown on this free same day delivery service option. This is mostly in bigger areas and metro cities but they are expanding it! This is becoming one of my favorite Amazon Prime perks!
Amazon Prime Perks – Prime Now
Let’s talk about Prime Now. Because getting your stuff delivered on the same day wasn’t enough, you can get it delivered in TWO hours! Plus you can also get 1-hour restaurant delivery is select cities! Learn more about Prime Now to see if this is available in your area/zip code.
Amazon Prime Pantry Delivery
I find it ironic that Amazon charges for Prime Pantry, but it’s still a good deal. If you fill a box with items marked as Prime Pantry, you can get it delivered to your house for a flat rate of $5.99. See how I save money with Amazon Prime Pantry.
Free Book Every Month
This is something that I personally love. Each month, you can download a free book from Amazon’s Kindle First list. This is great for our homeschooling and roadschooling adventures!
Amazon Has Its Own Brand
I’ve used Amazon’s brand before and it’s pretty awesome. It’s called Amazon Elements and you’ll notice Prime members get access to these awesome products. I personally noticed they were a little cheaper than the major brands, which is always nice. Who can complain about extra savings?
Unlimited Photo Storage
Amazon has something known as the Cloud Drive. You can download the Amazon Cloud Drive App onto your device and start storing those photos. It’s super nice to be able to store the endless photos that I take while we are on the road. If you don't have an Amazon Prime Membership this will cost you $12 a month.
If you read books on your Kindle you can get access to the Kindle Library and access 100s of books for free! See my 10 Ways to Save Money on Amazon post for the best ways to save using the Kindle library!
Member Only Deals
Deals like lightning deals are available early with your Amazon Prime Membership. You also get access to MyHabit and Amazon Elements for exclusive deals!

I am a mom to 5 kids, homeschool mom, blogger, social media junkie, Frugalista, Book Worm, and Closet Want-to-be Chef. We are a Roadschool family (homeschooling on the road while traveling fulltime).
I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
