Want to know why I have a problem loosing weight? I do great and then bam I hit a wall. Why? I just can't seem to give up my sweet for more than a few months. This Brownie Trifle dessert is my all time weakness. It had my favorites, chocolate, brownies, caramel, pudding and whipped cream. You just can't get any better than that!
Brownie Trifle Dessert Recipe
So If you want to impress your friends and family you just need to make this dessert. Tell them it's homemade because really it is but I have a few cheats for you! First, you will use a box brownie mix and make it yourself. Then you can get pudding cups to use. I use the Jello pudding boxes but either on works. It's very easy to make and it looks so fancy.

You can serve this one of two ways. In a big trifle dish or you can pick up individual trifle cups and make individual portions. The individual route takes more time but for some reason everyone they are so cute and gush over them even more. I don't know why but they do. So it's your pick!
So here is how to make this incredibly easy dessert dish.
Ingredients
1 Box of Brownie mix
Eggs/oil per Box Instructions
1 Teaspoon butter
10 caramels
Whipped cream
1 Box Chocolate pudding (my favorite is a jello box mix)
Directions
Mix/Cook your brownies according to package directions (I used Duncan Hines, which called for 2 eggs and 1/3 cup oil)
While your brownies are still warm cut them into small pieces

Place your small brownie pieces in the bottom of a trifle dish
Next place a couple spoonfuls of chocolate pudding on top
Then place a couple spoonfuls of whipped topping on top of the chocolate pudding
Melt your caramels in the microwave for about a minute
Pour a little caramel on top of your whipped cream
Now layering again (brownies, pudding, whipped cream, caramel)
Crumble a piece of a brownie on top of your trifle and enjoy!
