Your little princess is important to you. As her father, you take your role to love and protect her seriously. That is why it’s important to take the time to cultivate your relationship with her. How can you do that? Here are a few father-daughter date night ideas that will help you get to know your little girl better.
Father Daughter Activities for Date Night
Take your daughter out for a night on the town and enjoy a little dancing. You and your little girl will love moving to the music. If you aren’t a good dancer, you can even sign up for dance lessons together, having fun each week learning new moves.
What girl doesn’t love to be pampered? Pamper your little girl during your father-daughter date night by arranging a makeover. You can do this at home, taking turns doing each other’s hair and painting your fingernails. You can also go out to a salon and get pedicures together. Not sure where to start? Check out this pedicure kit just ass some nail polish!
Cookies & Canvas
Does your daughter love arts and crafts? Then you should surprise her with a cookies and canvas date night. During this date night, you and your daughter will be able to bond over a canvas, munching on snacks. Your little girl will love it as you work together to create a cherished masterpiece. (heads up there is a Paint and Wine night for adults that make good date nights for the spouse!)
Set the table and light the candles for a dinner date with your little girl. You can prepare your daughter’s favorite meal, showing her how much she means to you. If you want to extend the date night fun, then you and your daughter can actually cook the meal together, making memories in the kitchen as well. If you want to take her out to dinner, check out Restaurant.com for some dining deals.
Just because your daughter is your little princess, doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy getting dirty. For your next date night, take your daughter out on the lake and enjoy some peaceful fishing together. As you wait for your bobbers to go under, you can get to know each other, discovering what both of you have in common.
Sit down and play her favorite game with some snacks and a fancy drink, like a Shirley Temple. You can also take her out some place like Chuck E Cheese or Dave and Busters for some fun, competitive games.
Surprise her with some fun activities out! Watch Groupon for some deal around town everything from concert tickets to discount festival tickets. Also, see how you can earn some free Groupon Bucks to get some free date nights!

I am a mom to 5 kids, homeschool mom, blogger, social media junkie, Frugalista, Book Worm, and Closet Want-to-be Chef. We are a Roadschool family (homeschooling on the road while traveling fulltime).
I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
