What can I use instead of essential oils?
If you do not have essential oils or are not a fan of the way they smell, don’t worry! There are plenty of alternatives. Try squeezing 10 drops of lemon or lime juice into the white vinegar instead. For a fresh, clean scent, you can also use 5 drops of mint extract.
My tablets are taking too long to dry out, how can I expedite the process?
If you want your tablets to dry out quicker, pop them in the freezer for 30 minutes, and then they’ll be good to go.
How do toilet cleaner tablets work?
There are two ways to use these tablets. The first is to place them directly into your toilet bowl. Doing so will cause the tablet to clean the toilet as it is flushed. Specifically, it will clean the pipping it is flushed down the toilet. Your second option is to place it in the toilet tank. This will not only help prevent stains in the tank but will also clean the mechanical parts in the tank and cause your toilet bowl to fill up with cleaner, fresher-smelling water after flushing.

½ cup baking soda
1/8 cup white vinegar
10 drops essential oils
Yield: 18 tablets
How to make the Toilet Bowl Cleaner Tablets
In a small bowl, add 10 drops of your favorite essential oils scent to the white vinegar and stir.
Slowly add white vinegar mixture to baking soda and stir until well combined. The mixture should be slightly crumbly and not too wet. If needed, add a spoonful of baking soda or white vinegar to reach the correct consistency.
Use a teaspoon to scoop balls of the baking soda mixture and place them on a piece of wax paper.
Allow tablets to fully dry before use. When ready, place a tablet in the toilet, allow it to dissolve slightly, and then flush the toilet.
