My kids have a love for farms right now. The animals, how things grow, what the farmer does and more. So I decided to run with that love and make a unit study around it for our homeschool!
I base all our unit studies around books, I then match in printables and other items I find and always a field trip. My process for unit studies is very laid back. We start the day by reading a book or two than fill in with activities and printables. I also try and match with TV shows. So here is my list of what we did you can mix and match the way you want.

Activities
I did many activities with the kids. The one they loved most was this Farm Science Kit. One mommy loved was this Wipe Clean Farm Activity Book. This Farm Yard Tales Coloring Book was great busy work when I needed to work on other things or with one kid on something. I found this Root Vue Farm after we did our unit but this would have been a great addition!
Field Trips
This one is really simple the best field trip is to a farm! My kiddos got to feed the baby cows. This was right after my oldest daughter turned 4 and there was a cow born on her birthday she was so excited! I was preggo with #4 here 🙂
