Iconzoomer – This site gives you assignments to take pictures. From what I understand it's things like “take a picture of your lunch” “Take a picture of your pet” etc. You earn credits for each assignment completed and can trade the credits for payments and gift cards.
Scoopshot – Another app where you can pick up photography assignments via this app and get paid. They also have a lot of contests where you can submit pictures and get paid if you win. You also have the option to get hired based on your portfolio to do certain tasks.
Snapwire – With this site, you create a profile and samples of your work. Then you bid on assignments. If chosen, you complete the work and get paid.

I have been on FOAP for years and have dozens of high rated photos and never once sold any. I will look into a couple others on here and see if I have better luck.
