I love a good cupcake. Well, scratch that I love a good dessert. So when I was given this recipe, man o man. HEAVEN! It’s super easy to make it’s yummy and everyone loves it. I mean how can you not, 2 great things put together, root beer and cupcakes. It also led to me experimenting and I came up with these Root Beer Cupcakes With Cream Soda Frosting as well. Both versions are amazing and yummy!
Root Beer Cupcakes Recipe
If you are a cupcake addict like my self I also highly suggest my 2nd favorite these Orange Crush Cupcakes, dang it now I have a craving for Orange Crush and I don’t have any in the house!! Also, my kids are addicted to these Fun Fruity Pebbles Cupcakes and I won’t lie so is my hubby!

For the Frosting

RootBeer Cupcakes Recipe
Rootbeer cupcakes that are easy to make and will blow your socks off.
- White cake mix
- 1 can 12 oz of Root Beer soda (They do make a root beer extract if you want a stronger root beer flavor)
- 1 can of vanilla frosting
- Vanilla extract
- Root Beer candies
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
Mix together dry cake mix and can of root beer
*Note: since the rootbeer contains so much foam, mix it little by little. Not just the whole can in together!
Bake in the oven for 20-22 minutes
Just using a simple can of vanilla frosting, I added a tsp of vanilla extract and stirred to give it
that stronger vanilla flavor
Frost your cupcakes when completely cooled
Garnish with your root beer hard candies
