The Magic School Bus Lost in the Solar System Snack This was a super fun snack to put together for the kids, and is simple to put together using what you have on hand. Sliced cheeses became our Saturn- I used a cup to cut the circle, then used the outside part of that to cut out a ring with scissors. A Babybel was perfect for the red planet -Mars. Marshmallows were our stars or as my son pointed out they could be the Milky Way, while cereal were the asteroids hurtling through space. I let the mini rice cake be open to their interpretation- and was quickly declared as Venus. I love to include fresh fruit at every snack and meal- what could be more perfect than a Starfruit?
