Peach season is here! I love fruits and peaches are on my list! One recipe I like to make for get togethers during this season is a peach cobbler coffee cake. I tried out a few recipes and fell in love with this easy peach cobbler cinnamon coffee cake.
Easy Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Coffee Cake
This is one of those rare recipes that there are more ingredients than directions! Don't worry these are all simple ingredients that if you do any baking should you have in your pantry. This still falls into my Easy Meals folder mostly because it's such a crowd pleaser and once you have the hang of making it, this Peach Cobbler Coffee Cake will be your go to recipe for any get-together.

Ingredients
Coffee Cake
2 cups all-purpose flour
2½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
¾ cup milk
¾ cup homemade brown sugar
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup of softened butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cup sliced peaches
Crumb Topping
1 cup homemade brown sugar
⅔ cup flour
6 Tbsp. cold butter
Glaze
½ cup powdered sugar
2½ tsp. milk
⅛ tsp. cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium bowl, combine the 2 cups of flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Set aside.
Beat ¾ cup of milk, ½ cup of sour cream, ¾ cup of brown sugar, ¼ cup of butter, egg, and vanilla until creamy.
Add in dry ingredients and mix just until blended.
Fold in peaches. Be gentle!
Spoon batter into a 9 or 10-inch springform pan and sprinkle with crumble topping (see directions below).
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 – 50 minutes.
Crumble Topping
Combine 1 cup of brown sugar and ⅔ cup of flour in a bowl.
Then cut in ½ cup cold butter until mixture is crumbly. Yes, it needs to be cold, trust me as some using room temp butter once…. we won't talk about that.
Glaze:
Combine all the ingredients for glaze and drizzle over baked coffee cake before serving.
