This year I have to cook Thanksgiving dinner for the family. I won't lie, I thought about bombing it so I won't have to cook again but, I won't cause I love having everyone at my house, not to mention is easier than dragging 5 kids around! So I have started to plan our Thanksgiving menu and I am now on to easy Thanksgiving side dishes and I realized how hard they are to find! So I wanted to share my list.

Since we homeschool we take the week of Thanksgiving off so some fun things like our Thank You Thanksgiving Lesson Plan this is like a mini unit study leading up to Thanksgiving. We also read The Pilgrims' First Thanksgiving book all week as we remember why Thanksgiving started.

I also plan to start the day before and make my Traditional Dutch Apple Pie Recipe along with the pumpkin pie and Pumpkin Roll Recipe With Cream Cheese Filling for dessert.

For the adults, I also plan to make this Pumpkin Martini Recipe and of course, my Apple Cider Sangria cause a packed house of the family… yeah need I say more?

Ok so now on to the side dishes. Hubby has been begging me for 2 things, one being this Pumpkin Beer Bread for me to make my Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits Recipe instead of my normal biscuits. I might indulge him on the pumpkin break but I think I'm sticking to my biscuits! Thoughts?
