Dump cake is pretty much what it sounds like it's a cake made by sumping ingredients. Typically the base is a pie filling then a cake mix is mixed with butter to put on top for the crumble then baked.
The recipes are 3 ingredients and can be played around with. I like using a mix of vanilla and yellow cake mix in my topping. Some only use 1 box I like using two boxes for a thicker topping. It's all up to you.

I make my dump cake with cherries and pineapple (canned berries and pineapple). Add a sweetener of your choice. Sprinkle cake mix over fruit. Melt a stick of butter and pour over the cake mix. only dirty dish I have when making this is the measuring cup that or pan I melt my butter in. I bake until top is browned and the fruit is bubbling. My family loves it. I wonder how fresh/frozen/canned blueberries would be with pineapple?
Thanks for the recipe

Hi! I think it is Very misleading advertising this as a “3 ingredients” recipe… when in reality each cake mix and filling has multiple ingredients in it and these are prepackaged items. Would be great to see the actual recipe ingredients –from scratch. I’m sure others would appreciate it as well! Thank you so much!!!

Love this recepie! Short easy and love that it is so simple! Three ingredients, which I had in my cupboard. Taste is delicious! Sometimes, it is nice not to bake something entirely from scratch. Thank you for sharing!
