Gift Idea: Discovery Toys R/C Ravenous T-Rex
I was very excited to get this for my 5-year-old son, I mean really dinosaurs + boy = fun. I decided to open this before giving it to him so I could look at all the parts and review it. The packaging was attractive and gave a lot of information regarding the toy. The only thing missing would have been the need of a small screwdriver to open. I had batteries on hand, the box clearly listed sizes needed. I recommend having new batteries for the T-Rex its self. It does come with batteries but ours were dead. Removing the T-Rex from the box proved to be much more difficult then it looked. The screws on the back of the box were easily removed. The stabilizing “Cones” that held the T-Rex in the box were difficult to remove. The screws were difficult to unscrew due to being so deep in the … [Read more...]
Save Money On Medieval Times Dinner Tournament
If there is one thing my family enjoys doing, it is going out and doing things. Experiencing life is something we love to do. Here are a few reasons while we’ll be visiting this venue ASAP. Real Performance My husband and I are for introducing the kids to real experiences. All Knights begin their training as Squires - just as they did in the Middle Ages - learning horse care, sword fighting, and weaponry. It takes a minimum of six months of training to become a Knight. Why You Should Still Print Family Photos + $10 Gifts
This post is brought to you by Walmart who wants you to know all about their $10 gifts! I was just thinking the other day of how I will present photos to my kids when they get old enough to care. I feel like the whole photo thing has gotten complicated with the “cloud” and CD situation. I wanted to share why it’s still important to print those family photos. Your kids will want those photos. There is just something about being able to look at a photo and hold it in your hand. Printing family photos is super important because your kids need those memories to look at and cherish later down the road. Nothing replaces a family photo. I feel like no matter what the world comes up with, nothing replaces a family photo. A family photo speaks a thousand words. Being able to hand … [Read more...]
