The other night I was trying to figure out what to make for dinner and my kids said they wanted the shake and bake chicken I made last week. Celebrate Fall with Your Furbabies!
Fall is here and it's not just for us humans! Our furbabies can celebrate too! My dog always wants to soak up the last of the warm weather by sunning himself in the yard. Banfield has asked me to share some things I enjoy doing with my fur baby! We love going for walks and enjoying the weather and the tree colors. Ok really I don't know if he enjoys the tree colors I think he is just looking for a squirrel to chase but I can pretend! I also love enjoying all things pumpkin during fall! Did you know that September 6th was National Read a Book Day? Amazon wants to share how easy it is to read a book on a Kindle fire! They sent me a Kindle Fire HD 6. See that sticky note? That means they sent me one to give away as well! YAY! Each one also has a case to go with it! So I won't lie the last kindle i had was one of the first ones they came out with. Jello Orange Slices
While this is a great Summer Recipe, I have made it all year long it helps encourage my kids to eat regular oranges because the rule in my hosue is if you want Jello Oranges then you have to eat the orange first. There is also a Boozy version for adults ;) Gelatin Orange Slices Ingredients 4 Oranges 1 Pkg. Gelatin (any flavor you want) Instructions Cut Oranges in half across the equator, between the stem and blossom end. Remove the flesh of the orange. You can use just a spoon, or carefully run a paring knife around the edge first to loosen the flesh then use a spoon to get under the flesh.
