If you are out of Pepsi, you can actually use Dr. Pepper and it will taste very similar. However, we found that Pepsi worked best with this recipe.

What is the best way to store my pot roast leftovers?

This roast tastes great on tacos, barbecue sandwiches, or just by itself. If you have any extra roast, shred it and store it in a freezer Ziploc bag. It will last a few months in the freezer. You can also store this roast in the fridge for about a week before it goes bad.

What sides can I pair with this entre?

A side salad or mac n cheese goes great with this easy roast beef. You can also buy Hawaiian rolls and make roast beef sandwiches. We found these to be particularly popular in our home.

1 Slow Cooker Seasoning Pack
Can of Pepsi
1 pack of Au Jus

How to make Tender Pepsi Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Put the Pot Roast in the crockpot.

Mix the slow cooker seasoning pack with 1 cup of water and pour on top of the roast. Pour the Pepsi over the roast.

Cover with your lid for 8 Low or 4 hours on high. DO NOT LIFT THE LID!!!

30 Minutes before serving sprinkle Au Jus packet over roast and cook on low for 30 minutes!!
