I’m making this now and find no instructions for make the sauce, just the ingredients. The syrup is has different ingredients. Kinda of confused.
Fixed the sauce is the Easy Homemade Blueberry Syrup Recipe
If I half the recipe, how would you adjust the baking time?
The ingredients listed for the syrup on this page are different than the ingredients listed for the sauce recipe when you follow the link. This one has water, cornstarch and butter. As the other one includes lemon juice.
Can I have the correct sauce recipe and instructions. I see several comments anoit this but have not seen the answer. Making this tonight for tomorrow!! Thank you I’m advance!!
I agree this recipe is confusing. Do you put 1/2 c maple syrup w/ egg mixture? Or do you make the sauce and use it with egg mixture & serve on top of French toast after it has cooked?
Made this but used a blueberry syrup recipe from another blog as there is no clear answer on why the ingredients listed are different than the recipe with the link.
The entire post and recipe have been updated. The ‘sauce’ is my blueberry syrup recipe. Apologies for the confusion.
Absolutely delicious. This is a family favorite
How much blueberry syrup do you pour over the casserole? Is there a measure or do you just eyeball it?
