Have you heard of an Instant Pot? If not, it is a small kitchen appliance that works as a rice cooker, slow cooker, an electric pressure cooker. They are huge time savers, huge space savers and of course, huge money savers. You can cook everything from a simple hard-boiled egg to a frozen whole chicken in just a matter of minutes instead of hours! Plus you can bake in it! If you can’t tell, I’m absolutely in love with my Instant Pot and use it almost every day! When I first got my Instant Pot though, I needed to find a few Instant Pot recipes that would work for my family and if you’re reading this page; I’m sure you’re looking for the exact same thing.
The biggest thing to know when you buy an Instant Pot is that you must have the right size. They come in a couple of different sizes. For our large family, we went with the 8-quart size and it works perfectly! Also, your Instant Pot will likely need a couple of accessories for different Instant Pot recipes so consider going ahead and buying a steamer basket for your Instant Pot. The steamer basket will make it much easier to cook certain Instant Pot recipes. There are other Instant Pot accessories you may want to buy as well, but they can be picked up as needed.

I am a mom to 5 kids, homeschool mom, blogger, social media junkie, Frugalista, Book Worm, and Closet Want-to-be Chef. We are a Roadschool family (homeschooling on the road while traveling fulltime).
I grew up learning ways to save from my mom and grandma. I started my own coupon journey when my first child was born in 2009 and started the blog on 2010 when baby #2 was born to share my tips with everyone who kept asking about how I was getting diapers for $1 a pack!
